Extra Curricular Activities

Going beyond the horizon

Students are grouped into four houses namely Griffin, Phoenix, Dragon and Unicorn.

Women’s Day

St. Anthony’s High School believes in the empowerment of everyone who deserves it.

Hence, in keeping with the spirit of this aim, a Panel Discussion is held on the occasion of International Women’s Day (8th March). Distinguished women from several fields are invited for a fruitful discussion to inspire everyone who needs it, whether it be the students or the teachers.

Independence Day

August 15 marks the day of our Independence and St. Anthony’s High School hosts a program to celebrate this auspicious occasion. Students and teachers participate in March Past as well as performances of dance, songs and drills. The day is also important as students who have achieved excellence in their WBBSE and WBCHSE board exams are rewarded with special hampers.

Assemblies

General assemblies (and morning prayers) are held before the classes begin for the day to motivate the students so that they start their day with a fresh outlook.

These assemblies are conducted by everyone as per their turn. Teachers, classes (from 4 onwards), houses, clubs etc. are informed beforehand with their allocated days and topics, so that they are prepared in advance.
